A multifaceted approach to ending homelessness — increasing housing supply, engaging landlords, and navigating individuals into stable homes.
RHCB provides a variety of housing services throughout the Central Valley of California. Our goal is to reduce and end homelessness by addressing it from multiple angles — not just one.
We work directly with individuals and families to help them find housing, and we work at a systems level to increase the number of units available, make landlords more willing to rent to our clients, and ensure service providers have the properties they need to house the people they serve.
Get Housing HelpRH Community Builders provides property management and support to 68 units located throughout Metro Fresno. Individuals are referred to the program by Fresno County Department of Behavioral Health.
Program participants receive support in learning how to be a great tenant, pay rent on time, and remain focused on the next step in their housing journey.
RH Community Builders has collaborated with Fresno City College RAM Housing to provide housing to more than 100 students who are currently experiencing homelessness or at risk of homelessness. Students are referred by Fresno City College.
While in housing, students receive support with their academics, learn how to be a great tenant, and work on increasing their income. Students work with their team to identify long-term housing plans and transition into permanent housing options as they complete their education.
RH Community Builders is proud to partner with Fresno County Department of Behavioral Health, offering essential onsite supportive services across seven locations. Our mission is to help individuals with severe mental illness maintain housing and become active community members.
Services include: Individual and family therapy, case management, peer support, and engaging onsite activities that foster community connections and empower individuals to improve their lives.
The Landlord Engagement and Mitigation Fund is designed to increase the inventory of housing available to Fresno and Madera County residents who have historically been difficult to house. RHCB is building relationships with landlords across both counties to increase their willingness to rent to difficult-to-house residents.
Additionally, RHCB's mitigation fund provides reassurance to landlords that their investment will be protected — reducing the risk that prevents many landlords from renting to our clients.

Beyond direct services, RH Community Builders is actively involved in affordable housing development through our sister organization, RHCB Development. We're working to increase the supply of housing that low-income individuals and families can actually access.
