About RH Community Builders

A community-based organization dedicated to ending homelessness in California's Central Valley.

Built on Purpose. Driven by Community.

RH Community Builders is a community-based organization serving the Central Valley of California — including Fresno, Tulare, Kings, and Madera counties — with a focus on ending homelessness through innovative, individualized solutions.

We provide a continuum of services to meet the unique needs of every person we encounter: from emergency shelter to permanent housing, and from mental health counseling to substance use recovery.

Our work is rooted in the belief that stable housing is the foundation for everything else — health, family, employment, and community belonging.

What Guides Everything We Do

Person-Centered

Every individual has unique strengths, needs, and goals. We design our services around the whole person — not just their immediate crisis.

Dignity & Respect

We approach every interaction with compassion and without judgment. The people we serve deserve to be treated with the full dignity of their humanity.

Innovation

We constantly seek new solutions to persistent problems — from master-leasing models to integrated care approaches that produce real, lasting results.

Community Partnership

We believe in the power of collaboration. Our partnerships with local organizations, landlords, and government agencies multiply our impact.

Accountability

We hold ourselves to a high standard of outcomes, transparency, and responsible stewardship of the resources entrusted to us.

Equity & Inclusion

We are committed to fostering a sense of community and belonging, and to promoting social and economic mobility for every resident we serve.

Our services span four counties across California's Central Valley, one of the state's most underserved regions when it comes to affordable housing and mental health resources.
