Substance use and homelessness are deeply intertwined. Many people experiencing homelessness struggle with addiction, and addiction often contributes to housing instability. RH Community Builders addresses both — simultaneously.

Our approach to drug and alcohol treatment is evidence-based, trauma-informed, and integrated with our housing and mental health programs. We believe that recovery is possible for everyone, and that stable housing is a critical foundation for sustained sobriety.

Comprehensive Addiction Programs (CAP)

Comprehensive Addiction Programs (CAP) is our nonprofit partner providing residential substance abuse treatment to individuals over the age of 18 in Fresno County with Medi-Cal.

CAP's residential programs offer a structured, live-in treatment environment for those who need more intensive support than outpatient treatment provides.

Core Treatment Components

Individual Counseling

One-on-one sessions with licensed substance use counselors focused on building coping skills, addressing triggers, and developing a personalized recovery roadmap.

Group Treatment

Peer-led and facilitated group sessions that build community, reduce isolation, and create accountability among people at similar stages of recovery.

Co-Occurring Disorders

Integrated treatment for co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders — addressing both together for far better long-term outcomes.
